1. Go to our website: solver.com
Before installing Analytic Solver, please remember to register an account on our website. To register as a student or professor, go here. To register as a commercial user, go here.
2. Click "Download" in the ribbon.
3. On the download page, click "Download Analytic Solver Desktop".
4. Click the yellow "Download Now" box.
Analytic Solver Desktop can only be installed on Windows computers. If you have a Mac, please see instructions on installing Analytic Solver Cloud.
5. Open the installer to start the Installation Wizard for Analytic Solver Desktop.
Note: The name for your SolverSetup.exe may look a little different than pictured.
6. The installer will detect if your Excel is 64bit or 32bit. Wait for the detection to complete.
7. The Installation Wizard will appear.
Click "Next" to continue through the Installation Wizard. You will need to accept the License Agreement to install the software.
8. You can choose a different destination to install Analytic Solver or keep it as is. Click "Next" to continue.
Click "Install" and wait for installation to finish.
Note: If you had "Start Excel and show me Analytic Solver" selected, Excel will open a new workbook.
9. The installation was successful if you see both the Analytic Solver and Data Science tabs in your Excel ribbon.
